  • Alisa

Alisa moved to Bellevue in 2012. Living here has transformed her from socially awkward homebody to someone who thrives on being part of a community. Some of her favorite ways of getting involved in the North Boroughs have been: teaching at Mariposa Theatre for Young Audiences, being a part of the Wizardvue planning team, acting with the Community Theatre Players, and giving tours of Bayne Library while telling ghost stories. She lives with her husband and two daughters, and they love to throw geeky parties. Alisa is a walking showtune, multi-fandom nerd, and a Hufflepuff.
  • Beth Mosley

Beth has lived in the North Boroughs since 2010. Over the past 10 years, she has met fantastic people in each of the North Boroughs, and has grown from a girl who loved Affogato pancakes and events at The Creative Treehouse to a married, working mother of two who loves to let her kids run wild at the Bellevue Farmers Market. In her spare time she can be found working on laboratory quality assurance, jogging on California Avenue, listening to podcasts, and pleading with her sons to stop hitting each other. She lives in Avalon with her husband, two boys, and two cats.
  • Caitlin

Caitlin is a health coach and massage therapist who uses the principals of functional medicine to help clients improve their overall health and wellness. A former professional dancer, you can find her singing and dancing in her kitchen to The Bee Gees or Lady Gaga while making her kids delicious and healthy baked goods. She blogs about her cooking adventures at www.caitlinscupboard.com
  • Erika

Born in Pittsburgh, but raised in Michigan, Erika made her triumphant return to the Steel City in 2008 to attend graduate school at Duquesne University where she earned a Masters in Public History. She moved to Bellevue from the East End in 2017, in search of a small town environment in which to raise a family. Erika immediately jumped into the deep end of local volunteerism: she is one of the founders of the Bellevue Farmers Market, currently serves as the Vice President of the Friends of Bayne Library, as well as the planning team that brought the community WizardVue. Erika is passionate about local history, sewing, cross stitch, and her friends & family and is looking forward to creating more magic in the community via The Nobo Neighbor. She lives in her Forever Bellevue home with her husband, two small boys, and two geriatric cats.
  • Justin Greenawalt

Originally from Connellsville, Pennsylvania, Justin relocated to Pittsburgh in 2004. In 2008, he moved to New York City to pursue his M.S. in Historic Preservation. After completing his studies, the allure of the Steel City brought him back. In 2015, Justin discovered Bellevue and decided to call it home, along with his partner Christopher and their menagerie of cats and chickens. Professionally, Justin is an Architectural Historian in the Cultural Resources Department of Michael Baker International, Inc. He is also a Licensed Real Estate Professional with the Sewickley Office of Howard Hanna. Justin also serves as a Director of Preservation Pittsburgh, the President of the East Liberty Valley Historical Society, and a Real Estate Educator with the REALTORS® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh.
  • Jeremy Thieroff

Jeremy was born and raised in Pittsburgh, living in McCandless, Summer Hill, Allsion Park, Troy Hill, and Blawnox before finally becoming a Bellevue resident in 2018 with his wife Pam and their two dogs, Kessel and Chester. Jeremy is a Realtor with the Bryan Reilly Team at Keller Williams and, as a lifelong Pittsburgh resident, uses his knowledge of the area to provide his clients with amazing service. He's also a licensed Wedding Officiant who has performed 100+ weddings and a licensed Nutrition Specialist as well. Jeremy is proud to call Bellevue his home now and is also grateful that he has sisters living close (Avalon and Ben Avon respectively). He will be periodically sharing important real estate information on The NoBo Neighbor. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to him.
  • Kait Caviston

Kait is a recent arrival in Pennsylvania, having spent the last 5 years living in Pocatello, Idaho. A New Jersey native, Kait and her husband Tim, along with their 2 year old and pup, moved to Bellevue in June 2019. She brings life experience and years of editing medical journal articles to NoBo Neighbor.
  • Katlyn Paskorz

Katlyn owns a Web Development and Design business in the coolest city in the world. (Pittsburgh. The correct answer is Pittsburgh.) When she's not collaborating with cool humans, you can find her drawing way too many portraits of her 2 doggos, eating as much cheese as she can, and never finishing any of the tv shows that are recommended to her.
  • Laken Burns

Laken is excited to return to Pittsburgh with her degree in Horticulture and continue to grow her career in the area (if you'll excuse the pun)! She was born and raised in Bellevue and graduated from WVU in December 2018. Laken is currently eager to begin her new position as a display horticulturist, taking with her the knowledge from her prior jobs in plant care at both Hahn Nursery and Reilly's Summerseat Farm. Outside of work, you can find her playing guitar, spending time with her family, or on yet another plant rant!
  • Lorynn

Lorynn is a junior English major at DeSales University. When she's not writing, she can be found drinking way too much coffee, playing with her dogs, and babysitting the babes of Bellevue.
  • Meg A. Watt

Meg is relatively new to the Pittsburgh scene but she's already made herself a community fixture through her involvement in community events, boards, the SHOP Bellevue social and this site. She started her career as a journalist and still writes daily as a Content Director, and loves that this publication lets her come full circle with those skills - and her love of the North Boroughs. You can also find her writing on www.lit.buzz where she waxes poetic about all the books she loves. If you see her around Lincoln Avenue, she likely has her husband, grown daughters or a pack of dogs around; don't worry, no one bites! (And before you ask, yes; that is really her name)
  • Sabreena Miller

Sabreena Miller and her family have made a home for themselves in Bellevue, Pennsylvania — a small, yet dynamic borough located just outside the city of Pittsburgh. Here, she uses her experience in public service, expertise in blighted property law, and her amazing personality to help revitalize and improve her neighborhood as a board member of the local community development corporation.
  • Natalie @thelotuspeople

Natalie Roberson has been living in Bellevue, PA for over a decade and has seen the neighborhood evolve in the best ways. She is a Yoga Alliance registered instructor and credits her yoga practice with adding balance to her life in the tech industry. When not teaching or practicing yoga, you can find her working with data, knitting, reading, gaming, writing for the NoBo Neighbor or just hanging out her family which includes three small dogs. • Casey

Casey is a North Borough local. She was born and raised in Bellevue, and currently resides in Avalon. She has been doing hair since 2001, and currently works full time in a Gibsonia salon. She has 2 kids, 14 years and 18 months old. She has been married for almost 8 years to another local. Both Casey and her husband Luke graduated from Northgate in 2004. She enjoys skiing, boating, camping, reading and reality television.
  • Veronica

Hey, neighbors! I'm Veronica. After growing up in an Ohio cornfield, I escaped to Pittsburgh. I've moved around the city a dozen times, but after buying a house in Bellevue in 2017, I'm finally home. I can usually be found doing something nerdy, lurking at nearby estate sales and thrift stores (probably still counts as nerdy), or eating all the carbs on Lincoln Ave.
